How this works. Hawaii's 5-Day-or-Less (Direct Airport Release) protocol requires: (1) an ISO microchip, (2) two rabies shots more than 30 days apart on record, (3) a passing OIE-FAVN blood titer ≥0.5 IU/mL drawn at least 30 days before arrival and not more than 36 months before, and (4) the HDOA AQS-279 documents + payment received at least 10 days before arrival. Pets arriving without satisfying these wait in the Halawa Animal Quarantine Station for up to 120 days. We round all dates to full days; talk to your USDA-accredited vet before booking.
